The company has and continues to provide timely and reliable inspection services primarily to many State Departments of Transportation, railroad and other private/public entities. The company’s key bridge engineers have personally led field inspection teams to perform small to large and complex bridge inspection operations often with strict deadlines, in adverse weather, accessibility challenges and in remote locations. We have provided the owners with vital condition inspection reports so critical in managing our aging transportation infrastructure. Through working closely with many DOTs, we have come to appreciate and better understand the Bridge Management Systems, (BMS), within these organizations. Whether it is a Structure Load Rating, Scour Vulnerability, Seismic Screening/Evaluation of a Highway/Railroad Bridge, we add to the list of successfully completed projects for many bridge owners.
Bridge Design/Bridge Rehabilitation
Bridge design experience covers a wide range of bridge types, including steel and concrete structures for low and high-level fixed spans, long bridges over water, elevated urban interstate highways, and multilevel interchanges. New bridge design often begins with a bridge feasibility study that includes alignment studies, geotechnical/environmental investigations, structural engineering, traffic modeling and preparation of plans, specifications and estimates.
We use economic feasibility and life-cycle cost studies for every bridge project. Combined with our ability to provide design of new as well as replacement bridges, we bring value to bridge rehabilitation projects. Whether it is a small local bridge or a complex bridge subjected to heavy traffic volume and loading, we take pride in solving problems creatively using the state of the art knowledge in design and construction. For each bridge rehabilitation/design project, we fully strive to balance structural integrity, functionality, construction costs, maintenance, aesthetics and economic value of the crossing. We keep an eye on the big picture while minding all the details.
