As a rapidly growing and ambitious company, many newsworthy and exciting developments are happening here at AI. Following are just a couple of our latest endeavors:

  • Mr. Michael Sherber, PE, LEED-AP, has recently joined AI Engineers, Inc. as the Director of Facilities to oversee all mechanical, electrical and plumbing projects. He has over 20 years of experience as an Engineer-In-Charge/Project Manager on various facilities projects and is the first engineer in the State of Connecticut to be a LEED-Accredited Professional (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). We are glad to welcome him to our team!
  • AI was recently selected to perform construction engineering and inspection for ConnDOT’s project: Milling and Resurfacing of Runway 6-24 at Bradley International Airport.
  • The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has also recently awarded AI the prestigious project of updating their construction manual.
  • In December, at AI’s annual holiday party, the Employee of the Year Award was given to Muhammad Ammad, PE. Runner-ups for the award were: Kristine Kowalczyk and Jamal Kabbara, PE.
  • We are proud to acknowledge that AI’s President, Abul Islam’s article, “Connecticut Transportation: Problems or Opportunities?” was published in the Fairfield County Business Journal on June 4, 2007.
