Our Civil Engineering Design Group includes a comprehensive array of site planning, design and construction services for clients that include State and Federal agencies, cities and municipalities, electric & gas utilities, private corporations, and developers. Projects types include site design development, state highway & municipal roadway design, ARRA pavement preservation projects, private utility company improvement projects, airport expansion and upgrades, and transportation agency infrastructure improvements. Technical services include site design and permitting, stormwater management, hydraulics & drainage, roadway design, water system distribution, sanitary sewer collection systems, utilities coordination and subsurface utilities engineering (SUE), geotechnical engineering, landscape design, and traffic engineering.

Land Surveying is another advantage that AI brings to our clients, with 5 licensed surveyors (LS) and multiple field crews. Our survey department was added in 1999, and they have made their mark completing complex head line survey assignments, topographic mapping, property boundary surveys, easement drawings, and construction baselines/monitoring.
