Our survey department has made its mark in completing complex survey and mapping design assignments throughout New England. Projects such as the Glenbrook Cables Underground Utility installation, the Moses Wheeler Bridge Design, and the I-84 highway realignment in Waterbury, CT are only some examples of AI’s extensive survey capabilities. We now have 5 licensed Land Surveyors on staff and capabilities ranging from traditional ground survey to modern GPS sub-centimeter positioning. The survey department is fully equipped in-house for four to five survey crews. We also have the capability to establish additional crews as the workload requires. The surveying crews are equipped with the latest state-of-the-art equipment including Topcon 311/ Total Stations, HP48GX Data Collectors, Auto Levels, Topcon Dual Frequency Static GPS Receivers and compatible computer software. Furthermore, our field operations are supported by internal experienced CADD technicians/engineers.
