AI Engineers was declared this year’s Metro-Hartford Alliance Business Champions in the category of Sustainability! The award was presented to President/CEO, Abul Islam at the award’s breakfast on June 6, 2010. AI’s two recently submitted papers have been selected for publication in the 2010 IABMAS Fifth International Conference on Bridge Maintenance, Safety and Management. The papers will be presented at the conference in July. Basil Bantimba, PE and Aslam Siddiqui, PE co-authored the paper titled, “Arrigoni Bridge Inspection and Testing Program” and Daniel Whittemore, PE, LEED AP, authored the paper titled, “Where are the Sustainable Bridges in the United States?”
Mr. Bantimba and Mr. Siddiqui also hosted a Poster Presentation on their paper at the 2010 International Bridge Conference (IBC) in Pittsburg, PA held June 6th-9th.

AI Engineers is the very proud recipient of this year’s Supplier of the Year Award through the Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council (GNEMSDC)! AI was selected in the category that included suppliers earning between 10 and 50 million dollars annually. The award was presented to AI at the Annual Awards Gala on Sat, April 24th at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston, MA. AI extends a great thanks to Cheryl Clark of Northeast Utilities Systems for nominating the firm for the award as well as the GNEMSDC for helping the organization grow!
